ERA in the News: Sept 21-27, 2019
Hello all,
Virginia's upcoming election created a huge wave of coverage in Equal Rights Amendment news this week, possibly the biggest we've seen yet!
Check out the Virginia section of our newsletter to see how candidates in the state are speaking about the ERA, then head to our friends at VA Ratify ERA to learn more about what they are doing to promote advocacy in Virginia. VA Ratify is currently looking for volunteers to help with their campaign leading up to the November 2019 election. Maybe you have some time (or money!) to support their efforts?!?!?
Exciting news comes out of New York this weekend, as the Seneca Falls First Presbyterian Church will unveil a statue of ERA author Alice Paul. Check out our New York section to learn more about Sunday's unveiling ceremony.
Keep the momentum building!
