ERA in the News: July 19-26, 2019
It's an exciting week for the Equal Rights Amendment and Alice Paul, as the state of New Jersey has named Jan. 11-- Alice's birthday-- Alice Paul Day in that state. We're already looking forward to celebrating this winter.
News has been steady this week across many states, including news out of Alaska as Sen. Lisa Murkowski's (R-AK) team put out a press release in support of removing the ERA deadline alongside other senators. Read more about that in the news below.
If you've seen the recent photos from our ERA Day celebration and are wondering where you can get the t-shirt many guests were wearing, please check out our Bonfire account. Your shirt will ship straight from Bonfire to your door. We love them and hope to see more people rocking their ERA gear!
