ERA in the News: Oct 24 - Nov 1, 2019

This will be our final newsletter that we run before next week's election!

ERA advocates in Virginia are working so hard to elect pro-ERA candidates to the state legislature. We encourage you to check in, one last time, with our friends at VA Ratify ERA to see how you can help them from your state through financial donations or by blowing up your social media streams with supporting posts, like the one below featuring Virginia.

Our new “Unratified States” social media campaign is launching today. The new campaign features all 13 states that have yet to ratify the ERA. Share! Share! Share!

We did a big update to the #ERAToolkit this past week, adding 25 new social media squares! Head over to check them out, start downloading and sharing.

This week we also saw a strong showing from ERA-advocates in Utah as supporters there are pushing to become the 38th state in 2020. You can find the op-eds and news written in Utah by scrolling through to the state-by-state content.

Across the country, in races large and small, candidates will be elected into office. Let's make sure that we are electing candidates that support the Equal Rights Amendment, and legal gender equality.
